ALPHA Featured in The Jackrabbit Speaks

So, we have to brag - we were lucky enough to be featured in The Jackrabbit Speaks this week (Volume 19, Issue #14 | March 12, 2015), which is a pretty big deal considering the number of people that subscribe to the newsletter. Check out what Not That Dave wrote:

"ALPHA is a weekend camping event for creators. At ALPHA, everyone is expected to bring a project… but a project can be anything at all as long as it’s interactive! Working on an interactive sculpture? Bring it out to share! Got something you’d like to talk about? Run a workshop or meet-up on a specific topic. Working on a new performance and need feedback? You set the framework, and the other participants will fill in. Building something for the big burn and need to do a test build? Do it at ALPHA and let participants try it out!

ALPHA 2015 will be our third annual ALPHA event, held at Camp Ramblewood in Darlington, Maryland, from April 24-26, 2015. The event is produced by FIGMENT, the not-for-profit that creates free arts events in 10+ cities around the world. Full information on ALPHA at figmentproject.org/alpha.

Tell us you're coming on Facebook.

Tickets are on sale now at alpha2015.eventbrite.com. There are cabins and meal plans available.

After you purchase your ticket, you’ll receive an email with the link to register your project. We encourage experimentation! Please submit your project by April 15, 2015, to appear on our map and schedule. Got questions? Email the ALPHA team at alpha@figmentproject.org."
