Yes, FIGMENT NYC is happening! Four weeks to go!
FIGMENT NYC 2026 will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 11a-6p at El Barrio Artspace PS 109 at 215 East 99th Street on the Upper East Side!
We will have indoor and outdoor space, and we intend to fill the venue with participatory art, experiences, and performances. We also have submitted a permit application to NYC Parks to use Cherry Tree Park, next door to PS 109, for art projects as well. So hopefully we can grow in this new location!
We want to see your work! Art at FIGMENT can be anything, as long as it’s interactive: sculpture, installation, performance, experience, workshop. Our focus is on bringing people together in person (IRL!) around creativity, unmediated by commerce. So FIGMENT is free, and nothing is for sale.
Submit your project for FIGMENT NYC 2026!
Please submit your project and let us know how you can participate here:

Submissions are due at 11:59pm NYC time on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. What are you bringing?
Volunteer to help create FIGMENT NYC!
We have the core of our FIGMENT NYC 2026 team, but we need more help to make it happen!
We’re looking for people to help coordinate with artists (curators), and people to help get the word out (communications) and also people to help plan and manage the overall event (production).
Please let us know how you would like to help here: https://forms.gle/h21LYaEfey1HXjr
See you at FIGMENT!!!
